Elkhart County, located in Northern Indiana, is the 6th most populous county in Indiana. Within Elkhart County are the cities of Elkhart, Goshen and Nappanee, towns of Middlebury, Bristol, Millersburg and Wakarusa as well as unincorporated communities such as Jimtown, New Paris and Waterford Mills. Elkhart County contains seven public school corporations and three accredited nonpublic schools which serve students some as early as pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Postsecondary institutions in Elkhart County include Goshen College and a campus of Ivy Tech Community College. Elkhart County also has two state-funded adult education providers and multiple workforce training providers.
